Prism launched its Long Beach boutique in 2013 to offer bohemian women's clothing and specialty jewelry. Since then, it has grown into a globally recognized brand, building an eclectic and inclusive community of brands and artists with a unique mix of hand-picked clothing, accessories and home goods from across the world.

Our Impact

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Prism came to us to help them grow their online channel given the closure of their retail stores.

Over the course of a year, we helped Prism grow their online channel 430% at a profitable ROAS, to become their main distribution channel.

How We Did It

 

Creative Testing

Through systematic creative testing, we uncovered winning ad formats. Prism leveraged these learnings in future content production - new content was based on historic performance, to drive consistently strong results.

Weekly shoots and creative testing showed us that focusing on curated product assortments (neutral swim, cream shoes, fall tones, etc.) yielded a higher ROAS compared to photography that featured a broader product assortment.

 

Digital Optimization

We supported ad performance by building curated landing pages to optimize the purchase journey. This provided a more seamless shopping experience and lifted ad conversion rates.

We determined what products performed best in ads through our creative testing. We then worked with Prism to merchandise landing pages that built on these success to deliver a more curated shopping experience.

 

Merchandising Strategy

We synthesized Prism's wide product assortment into thoughtful ads and campaigns through rigorous testing, ensuring creative reflected historic performance and seasonality considerations. This drove consistent conversions and results, without sacrificing testing dollars.

The winning product in Spring/Summer ‘22 was Prism’s Swim collection. We structured creative and account strategy around this learning, in close collaboration with in-house retail analysts.
